June 2021 marks the one-year anniversary of the TPA! The sustainability tip of the month encourages tour buses and show vehicles to avoid idling and to connect/share power.

The Touring Professionals Relief Kitchen (TPRK), a TPA partnership with The LEE Initiative, announces new dates in June in Denver and Nashville with more cities to come. More than 14,000 meals have been delivered to industry crew!

With the spotlight shining brightly on diversity (or lack thereof) in the industry, TPA wants to showcase some organizations and initiatives that are attempting to make music more inclusive. Diversify the Stage builds greater access to BIPOC, LGBTQAI+, female-identifying, gender-nonconforming and disabled persons in concerts, live events and touring. Live Nation's Black Tour Directory is a resource for artists, managers, festival organizers, producers, vendors and venues for Black professionals and Black-owned companies of emerging production talent.

Equal looks toward a more inclusive culture by providing resources to industry professionals for the hiring of women in touring, live events, studio work, post-production, podcasts, film & TV and more. She Is the Music (SITM) strives to increase the number of women songwriters, engineers, producers, artists and industry professionals; they also support women-focused initiatives for change.

Never Famous connects bands, festivals, TV shows, Broadway and touring groups with experts and professionals who might otherwise be overlooked. Roadies of Color United International is a diverse group of entertainment and touring professionals designed to unite, network and promote one another.

Behind the Scenes (BTS) is a great charitable organization that offers entertainment professionals and their families several grants to assist with basic living and medical expenses. Their Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Initiative provides mental health tools and resources, and BTS recently launched their online Mental Health First Aid Training initiative as well.

TPA again teams up with Tour Production Group for health and wellness workshops. They offer three seminars: "Mindfulness for Touring," "Healthy Boundaries" and "Sleep and Jet Lag," each hosted by experts in their fields.
